The Survivor Fund
The International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum is proud to announce the launch of the towing industry Survivor Fund. The Survivor Fund is the latest addition to the ITRHFM family and has been established to help the families of the men and women that have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of service.
Survivor Fund Reaches $210,000:The
Survivor Fund has recently raised over $200,000
from gifts and donations from towing industry
suppliers, towing companies, owners, operators
and other individuals. We are working toward our
goal and are currently contacting more industry
suppliers and towing companies to raise both funds
and awareness for this vital industry cause.
Founders Club: The ITRHFM - Survivor Fund has established a ‘Founder’s Club’ to be comprised of the first 1,000 towing companies to donate $500 or more to the Survivor Fund. We will be recognizing this group at the museum and will have a roster in the museum library showing all of the members of this group. Those who join the Founder’s Club will become Silver Supporters of the Survivor Fund and will also receive a Survivor Fund hat, a press release that you can issue to your local paper, three Survivor Fund Supporter stickers and the right to use the 2006 Survivor Fund Supporter logo. Letters are currently being sent as invitations to selected towing companies across the country and more will likely be sent in the future. All towing and recovery companies are invited to participate in the Founders Club. Please use the Founders Club Donation Form to join this group.
The Goal
Our goal is to raise $500,000 for the Survivor Fund by the time the Wall of the Fallen is unveiled on September 9th 2006 during TowFest.
